A BRIEF HISTORY
The idea for Infonovum came about when Sanjay, Jay and Sunil worked together as consultants on a project for a financial firm in Switzerland. Their expertise in technology and knowledge of the domain showed them how software development vendors had processes which were suboptimal and expensive. Infonovum was founded in Jan 2005 to fill this vacuum, as the team that would deliver better software for the cost. Infonovum has a distributed development model that ensures efficient pricing and quick turn around.
Today Infonovum is a team of 50+ employees with a string of happy clients, most of whom have been with the company since the beginning. Though we started with services for the financial domain, our experience in solving complex business problems combined with our ability to learn new technologies, has given us the edge to take up projects in other domains and technologies. As is our wont, we deliver them successfully too.
We have ensured that the growth in our number does not dilute our culture. The founding team incubates this culture by bonding employees through our Infonovum values.

Owning up responsibilities in a flat organization
There is no hierarchy in our set up. There are roles, and responsibilities associated with those roles. Nobody gets pigeonholed. This way, our perspectives on problems are not weighed down by authority’s opinions and views. This provides the necessary space for open discussions and smarter solutions.
Freedom is the sine qua non for creativity. The biggest impediment to freedom is the fear of failure. We encourage our employees to go big with their thinking. And if they have to think big they should not fear failures. That is the freedom guarantee within.
